After I chose to live in the Kahless household, mummy1 and mummy2 took me to the vets to get my bollocks chopped off. Apparently its meant to stop my wanderlust and what responsible dog owners do to stop unwanted puppies if I ever got lucky.
So I had my operation and went home to recouperate. On the saturday morning Kahless spotted that I had a large swelling near my operation site and when she called mummy1 over, she was really worried and thought something had gone wrong, maybe an infection.
So they took me very quickly down the vets. I was lifted onto the examination table and the vet had a quick look, then started cuddling me and stroking me. He didn't look up at mummy1 or mummy2 but they were real anxious.
Then he said to me, very softly as he stroked me, "Well my Ben, are you or I going to explain to your mummies about the birds and the bees..."
Oops. They went bright red and hot-footed it out of their pretty damn quickly!

Yes we were very embarassed! Especially as two lesbian women; what did the vet think!
Our excuse is that we thought that you couldn't have an erection with no bollocks!
How hilarious! I loved this post. I have an award for Ben and Holly and it will be on tomorows post.
Damn! It's not Chopper, it's me, DJ!
ha ha ha bloody ha ha
Hi Ben,
This is the first time I've looked at your blog (can't think how I missed it) and I just want to say that you and holly sound like a couple of cool dogs. You could probably teach my cat a thing or two - though on reflection, probably not as she would run a mile if you came near her.
Anyway, good luck with telling your two mums about the birds and the bees. I always did find it a bit of a mystery.
Hi DJ,
Cant wait to see what you have awarded us tomorrow - it will be our first!
Thank-you very much.
xx.
Hello Mr Milo,
It serves them right for castrating me! Though I think the embarassment of this post serves as adequate punishment!
xx.
Hello Signs,
Welcome to our place. I am frightened of cats, I keep a mile away from them. Thanks for visiting!
Haha! Good one, Benny!
Hello my auntie Lynn. I am a cool dude dog aren't I!
thinking of you two this week x
Dear Ben and Holly, I hope you are having a fab time at the kennels (all those great smells!) and not missing your mommies too much.
